Dakotas America Annual Gathering 2024
We are pleased to invite you to the Dakotas America Gathering! This year, we will be touring Lakota Tech High School in Pine Ridge, South Dakota. This is the first public high school on South Dakota’s Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. It is also the first Career Technical Education (CTE) High School on a Native reservation in the United States.
Lodging
We will stay at The Rushmore Hotel & Suites. A sleeping room will be reserved on your behalf after you have registered for the event below.
Guests
You are welcome to bring a guest along for the tour and meals. Dakotas America will cover your travel expenses and one hotel room for you and your guest. You will be responsible for your guest’s travel expenses.

- Tuesday, May 7 | Guided Bus Tour through Pine Ridge Reservation, Lakota Tech High School Tour, Meeting, and Casual Evening Dinner
- Wednesday, May 8 | Departure
What to Pack
Feel free to dress casually for the Monday evening dinner. For the tour, business casual attire and comfortable shoes are recommended. Feel free to dress casually for the Tuesday evening dinner.
